Night and Day: The Life of Anthony Hollie and Lovell Love is a documentary about a man who lived two lives. The first part of his life, he terrorized the streets of Baltimore as a stick-up boy named Anthony Hollie. After snitching and entering the witness protection program, he became Lovell Love. For the second half of his life, Lovell Love was responsible for keeping hundreds of inner-city youth in Cincinnati off the streets as a church deacon, school counselor and founder of an award winning performance group. One body, yes, but the two men inside were polar opposites, night and day. 

Anthony Hollie

Two trips to the Charm City was all it took to get the necessary interviews and footage captured. Two of Hollie's sons, Jay and Dante, shared their stories on one day and Hollie's ex-girlfriend, Almeta, shared her story on another. The days in between were spent getting footage of the city and thumbing through libraries. His daughter Precious, who knew both Hollie and Lovell, was interviewed in Los Angeles.

Five interviews were completed in Cincinnati: Antonia, his wife; Lavell, his son; Courtland, his daughter; Reverend Ventus, his pastor; and Angie, his rehab counselor. At least one more trip to Cincinnati is needed to interview members of the Positive Peer Posse and Lovell's closest friend.
